CONSERVATORSHIP LITIGATION
When an adult is no longer able to handle medical or financial decisions for himself or herself, a Conservatorship may need to be established to appoint a third party to make those decisions. This can be a sensitive and difficult process.
Our office handle contested and non-contested Conservatorships. When there are competing Petitions, we are able to successfully litigate for appointment of the Conservator you prefer. We can address your needs whether you are a Conservator and someone is disputing the way affairs are being managed, or your loved one is being taken advantage of. We can assist with preparing accountings, selling real property, recovering wrongfully taken assets, and modifying the Conservatee’s Estate plan through Court Orders.
Both Vikram and Manisha are on the Los Angeles County Court Appointed Counsel Panel and are routinely appointed by the Court to represent proposed Conservatees.
